Tools

FieldCheck

The FieldCheck® simulation and test instrument facilitates regular, on-site verification of flowmeters. Meter verification can be carried out without the removal of the flowmeter from the pipe. Where ISO 9000 requires frequent test cycles, FieldCheck® is an economical alternative to calibration.

FieldCheck® consists of a signal generator as well as connection heads and adaptors (Simubox) for different measuring systems and process outputs. All components are contained in a protective case. The high performance, rechargeable battery pack allows operation over extended periods.

Software - FieldCare

FieldCare is a unique software tool developed by Endress+Hauser which, in its simplest form, can assist in commissioning and configuration of all field devices. In a more advanced version, FieldCare is a complete instrument-oriented Asset Management tool.

FieldCare is based on FDT (Field Device Tool) technology - an open technology developed in accordance to a standard specification supported by all leading automation suppliers. It can be used to operate all Endress+Hauser devices and third party devices, actuators, drives and remote input/output devices providing that they have the appropriate device-specific drivers. Generic drivers are also available to allow basic configuration of any third party device. The software is compatible with Ethernet, HART and PROFIBUS protocols.

The tool connects and exchanges data with other Endress+Hauser tools and provides links to our W@M lifecycle management system to provide enhanced functionality and additional device information.

W@M portal

Your installed base centrally organized!

Documenting the installed base from the start of commissioning through to the maintenance stage can be of great help in maintenance management.

The W@M portal is a unique and open tool that allows you to document, in a structured way, all devices installed in your plant. Multiple search fields allow you to review and analyze by location, application, loop and device, giving an up-to-date view of your plant, simply and quickly.

The W@M portal uses an open web-based platform. Data inventory is stored on your portal and can be accessed at any time by registered users using the web browser. All your important documents related to the specific devices including CAD drawings, certificates, operating manuals etc. can easily be attached.

The portal is open to all types of instruments, valves and actuators, irrespective of manufacturer.

All data can be exported in a structured format (Excel or XML for example). The W@M portal can also exchange data with other Plant Asset Management or Maintenance Management tools, allowing you to benefit from additional information.
